For over 25 years, IB has been exclusively dedicated to the development and the implementation of computerised maintenance management systems, as well as the complementary, specialist consultancy. IB offers specific solutions and tools to satisfy the widest needs of technical management, in any business area. IB's activity supports operators who, for different reasons, carry out an assets management activity. For example our software products and the annexed services are dedicated to the following commodity areas: Facility & Provider (management of the real-estate assets, and the annexed technological plants), Transportation & Logistic (fleet management including trains), Health (technical management of hospitals, clinics and nursing homes, etc...) Maritime (ship technical management), Process & Manufacturing (management of industrial plants in general), Utilities & Power Generation (the management of the technical processes within waste disposal, water and gas distribution, production and distribution of energy).
The IB offering does not include only the software solutions denominated InfoSHIP®, InfoFACILITY®, InfoHEALTH®, InfoPMS®, InfoGREEN®, and the technological tools for an adequate maintenance management; on the contrary, it extends to the specialist consultancy on "Maintenance and Operation" processes, and all the complementary services. The operational strategy which IB has set up through the years, intends to consolidate and to defend the Italian leadership in the Asset & Service Management Solution, attracting and getting involved the most influential institutional players operating in the field, in order to constantly maintain the excellence and the innovation of the solutions proposed. Our PLUSes: IB supports the client in the definition and achievement of an improvement path in the assets management. IB is not only a software and technological company: the results achieved on the market certify that IB is the Italian leader company in the world for the production and the implementation of the software for the maintenance management; furthermore, the activity carried out on a daily basis by more than 50 consultants on the premises of 300 national and international clients is defined as a technical, continuative and operative consultancy, rather than a mere supply of technology. IB is a company which offers specific consultancy, with an approach aimed at the operative efficacy: after years of experience, IB, which counts among its partners the opinion leaders of the maintenance in Italy has reached a sound belief: the consultancy activity is often ineffective if we don't pay the greatest care to the practical application and the impact it gives to the tools used on a daily basis by the operating staff, particularly in the maintenance field. Therefore, IB supports the implementation of the methodologies and the tools aiming to an efficient maintenance management, more market oriented and meeting its real needs, than supplying only technology. The software and the tools are a way to reach some targets and not "the goal". IB shares with the client the entrepreneur's risk: IB applies special fees for their products, tools and services, in order to share the entrepreneur's risk with its clients, waiting for the management's results. The most evident example of such an assertion is represented by the "business partnership programme", which includes the remuneration of IB based upon the profitability obtained by our client in the running of the maintenance activity.
