IB covers an important role in the innovation process for the Asset Management market. In order to fully understand it, one has to make some considerations with regards to what "innovation processes" really means, and then what role can be played in the process itself by a company (small) which is strongly focused in the production of the software for the technical management.

"The innovation is not a process which only leaps forward periodically, but an incremental process".
(From "hidden champions, 2001" H. Simon)

"The innovation is not directly proportional to the availability of the organizational and financial resources; on the contrary, it calls for a strong commitment and it depends on the quality of the staff, the company policy and from the willingness to achieve it".
(Albach 1994)

"A lasting success is mainly built by concentrating with perseverance on the right things, and to strive at promoting a great number of apparently modest and insignificant improvements every day".
(Levitt 1988)

IB does not wish to look for success by targeting a single element, or an innovative solution either, but by ceaselessly gathering up a package of "small initiatives", aimed at slowly and continuously improving the whole performance of the organizations dedicated to the technical/maintenance activities, in accordance with their mission
The innovative process is developed in tight cooperation with our clients, which are gathered in groups and divided according to their type of market (i.e. MyInfoHEALTH® club); they support the development of the informative solutions by introducing their needs and cooperating in the research of the solutions.

The Marketing doctrine has evidenced how this interpretation of the Innovation is:
  • one of the mainstays on which the leadership of the "hidden champions" is based upon, meaning those very focused, unlisted companies, operating on very restricted markets, which are the undisputed leaders in terms of economic results, not obtained on the market (see "Hidden Champions", 2001" H.Simon);
  • it is not only dedicated to the product, but also to the organizational and methodological process.
Starting from this broad concept of the term "to innovate", IB sets out to promote the innovation, and to boost it together with the client and partner companies, operating within the Maintenance world. The profuse effort is to pinpoint the needs, analyse the adequate products/services and the technologies, and then successfully implement them.
IB creates an innovation every day, by listening to the client, its needs and its objectives, being aware of the fact that an information system on its own is not enough; there is also the need to re-organize the processes, to endow oneself with the complementary tools, and to increase the level of service, to understand the management in its complexity, and to synergically combine the competences

IB has contributed throughout the years to the innovation process of numerous companies, also thanks to the research of solutions and devices, such as the Digital Pen, the RFID tags, the IPS (Index for Replacement Priority), the key management system and others which are still under development.
