The hospital SS Antonio e Biagio in Alessandria adheres
Even the hospital SS Antonio e Biagio e Cesaro Arrigo in Alessandria has decided to implement IB’s Enterprise Asset Management System for their Clinical Engineering Service. The hospitals in Alessandria are public facilities, equipped with 664 beds for inpatient hospitalization and another 86 beds for outpatient procedures, and divided into three different hospitals: Presidio SS. Antonio e Biagio, Presidio Cesare Arrigo (Children's Hospital) and Presidio Teresio Borsalino.
Adhering to the full web implementation standard defined with other hospitals in Piedmont, the hospital in Alessandria implemented InfoHEALTH® not only to harmonize its solutions with the other hospitals in the region, but above all in order to optimize the maintenance of medical devices and to monitor investment spending.
Thanks to an intuitive interface and a well proven implementation methodology, InfoHEALTH® was up and running at ASO Alessandria in record time with our team surveying 4,000 maintenance objects and training 10 users in just a few months. Gianluca Morocco, head of clinical engineering, immediately supported the system choice, preferring it to competing solutions, because it has the combined knowledge of over thirty year’s experience and is used in more than 100 hospital facilities within Italy, namely in the region of Piedmont.
In the coming months, the planned maintenance will be configured and the user base will increase to a hundred members within the department that will be able to connect to the full web application from any device to create service requests. When completed, InfoHEALTH® will enable users to manage inventory and to continuously monitor the performance of maintenance activities by ensuring transparency in the relationship between the hospital and third parties.
