) is the project, which belongs to a program funded by TEN - TEA (Trans European Transport Network Executive Agency.) MIELE -
16 million Euros worth - is aimed at maximizing the efficiency of the interchange of information along the logistics chain, with particular attention to the ship - port interface.
The project - from September 2010 to December 2013 - sees the port authorities, ship owners, terminal operators and logistics operators work with softwarehouses in five different European countries. The Italian Ministry of Transport (Beneficiary) delegated to RINA the role of Project Manager. Ports involved were: Leixões Port - APDL, Lisboa Port - APL, Port of Gijon, Port Authority of Cyprus, Port of Wilhelmshaven, Genoa Port Authority, and La Spezia Port Authority.
