General Data Protection Regulation

Protecting personal data

Protecting our customers' data

Beginning 25th May 2018, the European Union (EU) will begin enforcing the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation that regulates the way that companies handle people’s personal information. GDPR affects any company that handles the personal data of EU residents, regardless of where that company is located.

IB believes that our existing and prospective customers have a right to privacy and the ability to control how their personal information will be used. Under the GDPR, our top priority in processing data is maintaining full protection and transparency for personal data that IB has collected and continues to collect.

We support this new legislation and are implementing key measures across our entire business, carefully considering all involved systems, solutions and processes, identifying all areas for compliance and updates, creating compliance best practices into future systems and capabilities.
